
Meet Dr. Natarjan Asokan
Hello, I am Dr. Natarajan Asokan. I am the President and Founder of Trinity Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Care, P.C. – a company devoted to meeting the allergy and immunology needs of residents of Mohave County, Arizona. I have been a physician since 1982. I graduated from India. I came to the United Kingdom in 1988 and came to the U.S.A. in 1992. I am certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology in 2001 and by the American Board of Pediatrics in 1994 and 2001. I practiced General Pediatrics from 1985-1998 and currently practice Allergy & Immunology from 2000 to now. I have worked in some of the well-known medical institutions in India, the United Kingdom and the United States. I have licenses to practice medicine from the states of Arizona and Texas. We at Trinity believe in delivering compassionate and quality medical care and services to our patients. I have been married to Chithra for over 25 years and I have a son, Arjun who will be graduating as a computer engineer and business manager in 2009.

Dr. Natarajan Asokan completed his medical training in India in 1982 and obtained the Degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Stanley Medical College/ University of Madras, India. After completing two additional years of training in pediatrics in Madras Medical College, he obtained a Diploma in Child Health in 1987. His experience in India includes a year of training as a senior house surgeon at the world famous Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore. He spent the next four years in the United Kingdom primarily in the field of pediatrics in the capacities of senior house officer and registrar at Wycombe General Hospital, highly acclaimed Kings College Hospital, London and New Cross Hospital near Birmingham.
He completed pediatric residency training in the USA from Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI in 1994 and was board-certified with high honors in pediatrics the same year by the American Board of Pediatrics. He spent an additional year from 1994 to 1995 as a fellow in neonatal and perinatal medicine at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN and worked as a pediatrician for the next three years in Parker, Arizona. From 1998 to 2000, he successfully completed training as a fellow in the field of allergy and clinical immunology from Texas Children's Hospital-Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. He is Board Certified with high honors (one of the top scorers in the nation) in allergy and clinical immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology in 2001.
